Live Sea Temperature Map & Weather
SeaTempMap shows today's water temperature for any beach on Earth on an interactive world map. Tap any coast for the current sea temperature, a 10-day forecast, monthly averages, the UV index and live weather. Press play in the map legend to replay the last 30 days, 3 months or full year of daily sea temperature and sea ice as an animation and watch the sea warm up and cool down anywhere on the map. That also makes it a visual tool for following the ocean itself – marine heatwaves, the seasonal warming and cooling of each sea, cold upwelling along coasts and sea ice advancing and retreating – drawn from the same NASA and University of Bremen satellite data as the live map. Sea data comes from NASA, Copernicus and University of Bremen satellites and is updated daily. A lake button adds lake water temperatures from the same NASA data. Beyond the map it offers 174 hand-picked beaches as inspiration for where to go on a beach holiday – by country, sea and month.
