These Terms apply to your use of Sea Temp. The data shown is for informational and recreational planning only – never for safety-critical decisions on the water.
Information for guidance only
Sea-temperature, weather and climatology data on Sea Temp are aggregated from third-party scientific sources (Apple Weather, Copernicus Marine, Copernicus CAMS, NOAA, NASA MUR, University of Bremen AMSR2, AEMET). We make a best effort to keep them current and accurate, but the data is provided for informational and recreational planning purposes only. Do not rely on Sea Temp for safety-critical decisions – consult official maritime, weather and lifeguard authorities before going in the water.
Acceptable use
You may use Sea Temp for personal and editorial purposes. You may not scrape the site at high volume, attempt to overwhelm the API, or republish large datasets without our permission. Booking.com, Expedia, Trip.com and Agoda partner links, the Stay22 hotel map and hotel tab, and third-party hotel listings are subject to those providers' own terms.
Partner links
Some links on Sea Temp are affiliate links, and so is the Stay22 hotel tab described in our Privacy Policy: if you book through them, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. It never changes the sea temperatures, forecasts or beach rankings we show.
No warranty
Sea Temp is provided as it is. We make a best effort to keep the readings current, but they are informational, and we are not liable for what you decide from them. If you have paid for Premium, none of that touches your statutory rights as a consumer: a paid digital service still has to be what it was described as, and these terms cannot sign that away.
Who operates Sea Temp
Sea Temp (seatempmap.com) is operated by Tomáš Lovnianský, Vodárenská 4607/92, 921 01 Piešťany, Slovakia, business ID (IČO) 45416605, tax ID (DIČ) 1081827527, VAT ID SK1081827527. Everything you can pay for – Sea Temp Premium on this website and in the iOS and Android apps, Sea Temp accounts, and Widget Pro, the paid tier of our embeddable widget – is provided by Tomáš Lovnianský. On this website those purchases are sold through Paddle.com, which acts as the Merchant of Record and issues your invoice; in the apps the seller is Apple or Google.
Buying Sea Temp Premium
Sea Temp Premium comes as an auto-renewing monthly or yearly subscription or as a one-time Lifetime purchase. One Premium works on this website and in both apps once you sign in with the same email address. In the iOS or Android app the seller is Apple or Google: your account with them is charged when you confirm, a subscription renews at the same price every period until you cancel it in your App Store or Google Play account settings, at least 24 hours before the period ends, and refunds go through them – reportproblem.apple.com on iPhone and iPad, your order history on Google Play. Deleting the app cancels nothing. On this website the seller is Paddle.com: a subscription renews at the same price until you cancel it – from the link in Paddle's receipt email or on your account page – and stays active until the end of the period you have paid for. Web purchases come with a 14-day refund, no reason needed; see the refund policy. Write to hello@seatempmap.com if you get stuck.
Changes to Premium features
Some Premium features, like the rain radar, use data we buy from outside providers. If they raise prices, change their terms or stop their service, we may adjust the feature, switch data sources or offer a comparable replacement. We change Premium only for such reasons, at no extra cost to you. This includes Lifetime: it covers Premium as offered at any given time, not specific features or data sources. If a change makes Premium noticeably worse for you, we will tell you beforehand. You keep all your consumer rights, including the right to cancel.
