About Railay Beach
Railay is a small Andaman peninsula between Krabi town and Ao Nang, walled off from the mainland by limestone karst cliffs that rise 150 to 300 metres and force every arrival onto a long-tail boat across the bay. West Railay curves as a turquoise, sunset-facing crescent of fine sand, while Phra Nang to the south sits framed by overhanging cliffs and the Princess Cave shrine. The sea holds 28 to 30 °C82 to 86 °F year-round, with Krabi International airport about 45 minutes away by car and boat.
