Where is warm in November for a beach holiday?

November shifts a swimming holiday away from much of the Mediterranean towards the Red Sea and tropical coasts. Tenerife can still appeal for an outdoor break, though its sea averages are cooler than Egypt's Red Sea. In Thailand, the Andaman coast usually moves into a more favourable beach season; that timing should not be applied to every Thai island.

Pick the right coast for the season

Hurghada and Railay in Krabi offer two different starting points. For a stay at Railay, check the boat transfer as well as any excursions you want to take, then check the local forecast closer to departure. On the east coast of Peninsular Malaysia, the northeast monsoon typically brings heavier rain from November into March. Warm water there does not make November equivalent to the Andaman coast. Check island access and accommodation operation before committing to a transfer-dependent stay.
