About Coral Beach
At the northern tip of the Gulf of Aqaba, Eilat's Coral Beach Nature Reserve protects the world's northernmost shallow-water coral reef, designated in 1964 and studied by IUI researchers as a refuge for corals resilient to ocean warming. Three buoyed reef tables sit just off the pebbled shore, while HaShnaim Beach and Princess Beach, near the Egyptian border at Taba, extend the snorkel coast to the south. The sea holds 25–27 °C from July through September; Ramon International is 25 minutes by Highway 90.
