About Oludeniz
On Turkey's Turquoise Coast where the Aegean meets the Mediterranean, Ölüdeniz is anchored by the Blue Lagoon, a sand-spit-enclosed bay declared a national park in 1986, with Mount Babadağ rising 1,969 metres behind it as one of the world's premier paragliding launches. South along the pine-backed shore, Kıdrak Beach offers a quieter cove, while Butterfly Valley waits in a steep canyon reached only by boat. Sea temperatures hold between 26 and 28 °C79 and 82 °F from July through September, with Dalaman airport 75 minutes by the D400.
