About Malta
The Maltese archipelago sits in the central Mediterranean between Sicily and Libya, with its postcard image fixed on the Blue Lagoon, an electric-turquoise channel between the islets of Comino and Cominotto reached only by boat. On the main island, Mellieha Bay anchors the north with the country's longest sand beach, while Golden Bay opens westward as a shorter golden crescent framed by pale clay cliffs. Sea temperatures hold between 25 and 27 °C from July through September, with Malta International airport roughly twenty minutes away by road.
