About Cala d'Hort
On Ibiza's south-western shore, Cala d'Hort frames the limestone pyramid of Es Vedrà, a 385-metre islet that rises a kilometre offshore and ranks among the Mediterranean's most photographed sea stacks. The main beach mixes coarse sand with rounded pebbles and clear, deep-blue water, while neighbouring Cala Carbó shrinks to a narrower cove of grey shingle quieter than its better-known sister. Sea temperatures climb above 25 °C77 °F from July through September, with Ibiza airport 40 minutes by road.
