About Dickenson Bay
Antigua promotes itself with the tagline of 365 beaches, one for every day of the year, and Dickenson Bay anchors the northwest coast as the island's most concentrated resort strip, with the Sandals Grande Antigua occupying its southern end. Just south, Runaway Bay offers a quieter stretch of the same shoreline, while Fort James Beach sits behind the 1739 ramparts of Fort James guarding the entrance to St. John's Harbour. Sea temperatures hold at 28–29 °C year-round, with V.C. Bird International airport fifteen minutes away by road.
