About Meads Bay (Anguilla)
Anguilla's northwest coast curls into Meads Bay, a 1.6-kilometre crescent of powder-white sand lined with low-rise luxury hotels that keep the skyline below palm height. On the island's eastern shore, Shoal Bay East stretches three kilometres of even finer, near-white strand often ranked the Caribbean's most photographed, while the next bay west, Maundays Bay, curves around Belmond Cap Juluca's Moorish-white villas. Sea temperatures hold between 28 and 29 °C year-round, peaking from August through October; Princess Juliana airport on Sint Maarten sits about 75 minutes by ferry and road.
