About Gustavia
Gustavia anchors the leeward shore of Saint Barthélemy at the head of the Carénage, a natural deep-water harbour that Sweden held from 1784 to 1878 and that now ranks among the Caribbean's busiest superyacht roadsteads. Anse de Grande Saline keeps its undeveloped emerald water on the south coast, while Saint-Jean Beach sits directly beneath the low-altitude landing approach into Gustaf III Airport. Sea temperatures hold between 28 and 29 °C82 and 84 °F year-round, with the SBH runway barely ten minutes by road.
