About Soufrière

On Saint Lucia's west coast, Soufrière sits between The Pitons — twin volcanic plugs of 743 and 798 metres linked by the Piton Mitan ridge and inscribed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2004. Just north of town, Anse Chastanet curves into a cove of dark volcanic sand backed by a reef long known for shore diving, while Marigot Bay shelters further north as a deep, narrow yacht harbour. The sea holds 27 to 29 °C year-round, with Hewanorra International about 75 minutes south along the coast road.
