About Flamingo Beach
Aruba's Renaissance Island, a private 40-acre cay reached by water taxi from Oranjestad, splits its shoreline into a paired retreat unlike anything else in the southern Caribbean. Adults-only Flamingo Beach is famous for the resident colony of pink flamingos that wade through the shallows beside swimmers, while Iguana Beach welcomes families on the opposite side, where green iguanas drift between the loungers. Tropical waters hold steady at 27–29 °C from January through December, with Queen Beatrix International airport fifteen minutes from the harbour.
