About Cayo de Agua

Cayo de Agua sits at the western edge of the Los Roques Archipelago, a Venezuelan marine park declared in 1972 that protects more than 350 cays and reefs across 2,211 square kilometres of Caribbean shelf. Its signature feature is a long white-sand spit that links two small palm-tufted islets, wadable through ankle-deep, glass-clear water. Sister cays Madrisquí and Crasquí round out the archipelago day-trip with sheltered shallows and a kilometre-long sand strand. Sea temperatures stay between 27 and 29 °C year-round, with no marked low season.
