About La Pelosa
At Sardinia's northwestern tip, Spiaggia della Pelosa faces the Asinara National Park across a shallow turquoise channel anchored by Torre della Pelosa, a 16th-century Aragonese watchtower standing on the Isola Piana islet just offshore. The tiny sister cove of La Pelosetta sits immediately south, while the longer Stintino Saline stretches nearby with deeper water and easier parking. The sea climbs to 24–26 °C75–79 °F from July through September, with Alghero-Fertilia airport about 50 minutes away by the SS291.
