About Cala Goloritzé
Tucked into the southern Gulf of Orosei on Sardinia's wild eastern flank, Cala Goloritzé sits beneath the 148-metre Aguglia di Goloritzé, a limestone needle declared an Italian natural monument in 1995. The cove is reachable only on foot down from the Baunei plateau or by licensed boat from Santa Maria Navarrese, with white pebbles, a natural stone arch and water so clear it reads pale turquoise even at four metres depth. The sea holds 24–26 °C from late June through September, peaking in July and August.
