About Cala Sa Forcanera
Cala Sa Forcanera is a pine-cliffed pebble cove tucked just north of Blanes, where Sa Palomera rock marks the official southern gateway to the Costa Brava and the Jardí Botànic Marimurtra has crowned the headland above since 1921. Sandier Cala Bona opens one cove further north along the GR-92 coastal path, while the two-kilometre Platja de Blanes stretches south of the rock through the old fishing town. Sea temperatures climb to 24-26 °C from July through September, with Girona-Costa Brava airport forty minutes away by the AP-7.
