Where is warm in February for swimming?
February sunshine and February sea temperature are different things. Much of the Mediterranean is still in its cold-water season, so a seaside city break should not be mistaken for a summer-style beach holiday. For warmer swimming, look towards the Maldives, the Caribbean or Thailand, then compare the particular coast rather than the country's name.
A beach holiday during the winter break

For a family stay, check whether a hotel pool is heated and whether the beach has a shallow entry; neither can be assumed from a warm destination forecast. Match the journey and transfers to the length of the break so a short holiday does not disappear into travel days.
