About Morro Jable
At the southern tip of Fuerteventura, Morro Jable sits below the Jandía Massif, the 180 km² Jandía Natural Park whose Pico de la Zarza rises 807 metres as the island's highest summit. East along the peninsula, Playa de Sotavento runs 17 kilometres with a shallow tidal lagoon that hosts the PWA Windsurf World Cup; behind the massif, Playa de Cofete spreads 14 kilometres of wild Atlantic surf. The Canary Current holds the sea at 22-23 °C from July through September, with Fuerteventura airport 75 minutes north along the FV-2.
