About Da Nang

This coastal city sits on Vietnam's central coast where the South China Sea meets the Marble Mountains (Ngũ Hành Sơn), five limestone and marble hills named for the Chinese elements and honeycombed with Buddhist cave sanctuaries. My Khe Beach unfurls nine kilometres of white sand south of the Han River, lively with resorts and surf schools, while Non Nuoc Beach lies quieter beneath those same peaks. Sea temperatures hold between 28 and 30 °C from May through September, with Da Nang International Airport fifteen minutes from the seafront.
