About Malolo Lailai
Malolo Lailai is the second-largest island in Fiji's Mamanuca archipelago, a volcanic chain ringed by a coral reef that famously hosted a Hollywood survival film on neighbouring Modriki. Plantation Beach fronts the palm-lined western shore with calm, shallow lagoon water, while Musket Cove Beach faces the marina on the eastern side and gives onto deeper channels toward Castaway Island Beach. Sea temperatures hold between 26 and 29 °C79 and 84 °F year-round, peaking December through April; Nadi International is roughly 90 minutes away by catamaran and road.
