About Diamond Beach

On the south-east corner of Nusa Penida, Diamond Beach takes its name from a triangular limestone pinnacle that rises from the white sand at the centre of the cove, reached by a steep stone staircase carved into a 100-metre cliff. The neighbouring Atuh Beach shares the same clifftop carpark and frames a small offshore islet, while Kelingking Beach further west sits below the island's T-rex-shaped headland. Sea temperatures hold between 27 and 29 °C year-round, with the calmest swimming window from May to October.
