About Clearwater Beach
Clearwater Beach sits on a Gulf of Mexico barrier island off Florida's west coast, anchored by Pier 60, a 350-metre fishing pier that has hosted the nightly Sunsets at Pier 60 festival of buskers and artisans since 1995. South across Sand Key Bridge, Sand Key Beach runs longer and quieter through a state park section, while Caladesi Island Beach lies boat-access only to the north – five kilometres of unspoiled wild sand. Sea temperatures climb to 29–31 °C84–88 °F from July through September, with Tampa International airport 40 minutes by road.
