About Anse Source d'Argent
Anse Source d'Argent stretches along the southwest coast of La Digue in the Seychelles' Inner Islands, framed by weathered Precambrian granite boulders nearly 750 million years old that mark a rare continental fragment among Indian Ocean islands. The beach lies inside L'Union Estate, a working coconut and vanilla plantation that charges admission; on the windier east shore, Grand Anse runs longer and rougher with surf pounding from May through October. Sea temperatures hold 27-29 °C81-84 °F year-round, calmest during the dry April-to-October trade-wind window.
