About Dubrovnik
Southern Dalmatia's defining silhouette is Dubrovnik's Old City, a UNESCO-listed walled town wrapped by a 1,940-metre circuit of stone ramparts rising up to 25 metres above the Adriatic. Just east of the Pile Gate, pebbly Banje Beach faces the offshore islet of Lokrum with clear, deep water; westward on the Lapad peninsula, Sunset Beach Lapad offers calmer, family-friendly shallows. Sea temperatures climb above 24 °C from late June through September, with Dubrovnik Airport 25 minutes south by road.
