About Binz
Rügen's largest seaside resort fronts a 5-kilometre stretch of Baltic shore lined with late-19th-century Bäderarchitektur – white wooden villas with carved balconies and sun-loggias, restored after reunification, and the 370-metre Seebrücke Binz reaching offshore. South lies Sellin Beach, anchored by its own historic spa pier; to the north, Prora Beach runs in front of the 4.5-kilometre Nazi-era KdF complex, Germany's longest building. The sea warms to 18–20 °C64–68 °F from July through September.
