About Bondi
Sydney's Eastern Suburbs meet the Pacific at Bondi Beach, a kilometre of golden sand anchored at its southern end by the Bondi Icebergs Club and its 50-metre ocean pool, carved into the rocks in 1929 and washed by waves at high tide. The clifftop coastal walk runs south to Tamarama, a compact cove between sandstone headlands, and Bronte, a family favourite with grassy park and the Bogey Hole rock pool. Sea temperatures reach 22–24 °C72–75 °F from December through March, and Sydney Airport is 25 minutes by Eastern Distributor.
