About Rovinj

On the west coast of the Istrian peninsula, Rovinj climbs in pastel tiers to the Church of St. Euphemia, a 1736 Baroque basilica whose 60-metre bell tower copies St. Mark's Campanile in Venice and carries a bronze statue of the saint as a weather vane. Mulini Beach in Lone Bay offers pebble platforms shaded by Aleppo pine, while Crveni Otok adds the rare sandy stretch a quarter-hour offshore. The Adriatic holds 23 to 25 °C from July to September, Pula airport forty minutes down the D75.
